Kamilah is the founder and Executive Director of Birth Work South Florida, a company that has successfully grown since E.S.T in 2018. In the last 17 years, she has expanded her expertise in various roles of birthwork. Most of her contributions to the South Florida communities include:
Kamilah believes that the maternal health community should not be neglected or viewed as complicated. Her practical approach to life is crafted in all birth and postpartum services offered through Birth Work South Florida.
Kierra is a Certified Postpartum Doula. Her Passion for maternal and infant health began in her undergrad career at Spelman College. She became a doula to provide support to mothers and families in anyway she can during their birthing journey.
Stephanie, originally from Venezuela, but has grown up under the Miami Beach sun. She is a passionate advocate for nature and animals, believing that all life is a precious gift from the Creator. Her heart’s mission is to nurture and suppor

Her long- term dream is to establish an animal sanctuary, where she can continue to care for our furry friends. But her calling doesn’t stop there - it’s about helping both humans and animals alike.

Nesha, has Haitian and Jamaican roots, originally from New York City and moved to Florida in 2017. Her passion is postpartum care for babies and families. She spent her youth assisting and learning from her grandmother. Her grandmother taught her traditional Haitian postpartum care. She continued her path by becoming a certified birth and

She continued her path by becoming a certified birth and postpartum doula as well as a massage therapist. Nesha's self care includes visiting new places, writing, working out and yoga. Regular gatherings with her very close friends and family keeps her grounded.
